Yes, I admit I occasionally yell back at the TV. But only when the current president struggles to make his thoughts known to us through the use of the English language. It's also true at those particular times my soft, melodic voice raises to levels only dogs can hear, and I get so overly excited the blood rushes to my cheeks. But this happens only when I hear political pundits lying through their capped teeth. I can't help it. That's how I react when I'm confronted by stupidity and arrogance and a blatant disregard for the health and well being for this planet and all its inhabitants.
I'm sorry but I just can't stand what is going on right in front of our eyes! Every single day it's another scandal and another lie exposed. It is nothing less than abhorrent to have to witness the total disrespect this administration holds for life and the truth.
Gosh, gee wilacurs, wasn't it this president, who in atonement for the previous administration, said his was going to built on a foundation of character and honor and a sense of justice? What the heck went so terribly wrong here? Nothing that a whole lot of recent books written on the psyche of George W. Bush and his cohorts couldn't explain.
Is it only me that thinks of the cover of Mad Magazine when I see the president?
Because I can get a bit touchy when our president dismisses executive decorum and the constitution with a wave of his hand, and I go extra nuts when a vile person like Ann Coulter, who has no reason to have the right to speak to the country, and is promoted by today's media as a constitutional official is given free reign to say the most outlandish, despicable things, and what she says is presented as news, when I cannot stand to watch any news format show any longer because they have all become a delusion of reality, (would somebody pleeeeze put Wolf Blitzer out of his misery - it is really really too painful to watch him) when I cannot pretend anymore to understand what is so obviously incomprehensible, I have been banished by some to wear the scarlet letter D for - 'Drama Queen.'
Here then in my defense is my rebuttal -
D is for Drama
by Estella Ritter
When you say I’m a drama queen and set your teeth in that pejorative tone I’ve come to know so well, you fail to grasp you’ve just offended and demeaned God; the most brilliant dramatist of all time.
Man’s creative expression is only an attempt to emulate God’s perfect artistic eye. When you sully my name by calling me a drama queen do you also mock God’s obvious taste for the drama as an over the top production? Do you describe God’s abundant exterior stylizing as a glitzy theatrical gesture?
To call me a drama queen is to reduce every soldier or civilian who perished in a battle to nothing more than a dramatic actor. To scorn my emotive articulation is to reduce the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Bible and the Koran and the Torah to mere psalms of pity.

I totally hear you. It does annoy me when I listen to O'Reilly or some other ideologue and they are cherry-picking facts and leaving out relevant information to suit their political agenda. The corruption is also really worrying.
The upside is that all of this corruption will eventually come back to bit the GOP in the butt in the 2008 elections. :)
After all the time that has passed, things can get distorted and out of perspective. So on a day like this, 6 years to the day of the horrific attacks against the US, we need reminders. We should watch videos like this:

It puts things into the proper perspective.
I thought you said this was a fair and balanced kind of blog ...like Fox News is, much as you hate them. Well it is not, so don't kid your self.
